DeVries Photography became an official business in November of 2010. It is a family venture.
Krista: I am the primary photographer. I studied digital photography under a talented local photographer at the University of South Dakota. These classes, which I originally took just for fun, turned into a passion. I love photographing important moments in your lives: reaching the end of your high school career, getting married, and having a new baby—to name a few.
I shoot with a Canon 450D Rebel XSi. Natural light is my favorite, and I am pretty well-versed in Photoshop.
Jason: My husband has a degree in graphic design, and he is a Photoshop expert. He is my sounding board for photos, and he created and maintains the website. In addition, he often assists with shoots. He loves art and photography.
We have three little girls who make fun and challenging—though usually willing—models.
